Easy........The Dunlop SP Sport A2, $300 for 4 tires, balanced and mounted at Mavis Discount Tire. Mavis has 16 stores on Long Island
Last Year I replaced the original Michelin MXV4's, with the A2's, on my 99 S70GLT at 21500 miles, and years ago at 23000 miles on a 850GLT.
I found the handling of the Dunlop (on wet and dry roads) to be as good, if not better than the Michelin. On snow the Dunlop's were "much" better. "Consumer Reports" (Nov., 02 Pg. 63) rates the Dunlop SP Sport A2 #1, and the Michelin MXV4 #2, in the All-Season tire class.
I have a heavy foot on the gas pedal, and enjoy taking a corner as fast as conditions allow. My S-70 just turned 29,000 miles, and the tires are holding up well.
