windshield washer fluid leak 850 1996

You don't need to remove the headlight to get to the T-valve. I too have a leak and my headlight washer's don't work. I did determine that the T-valve is not working and found a way to get to it easily.

Simply find the T-connector next to the washer resevoir filler neck and disconnect the hose that connects to the base of the T, this hose leads to the T-valve for the headlight sprayers. (located behind the passenger side headlight) Also, follow the hose you just disconnected down and it will go throught a holding clamp near the base of the headlight. Remove it from this holder. Then disconnect the small hose from the passenger side headlight wiper. I put a small clamp on it so it doesn't fall behind the headlight then you are working.

Next, get a flash light and look behind the headlight and in front of the radiator. You will see the T-valve. Grab it with a needle nose and pull it out enought to get the hoses disconnected.

I'm hoping to get the T-valve at the dealer tomorrow and at least fix my spray problem. I'm not sure about the leak, however.

Dustin
