Leaking transmission V70-XC70 1998

Hi Folks. I have a 1998 V70R with 122,000 miles. Everything is great except my last oil change I saw same transmission fluid drip and was wet all over the bottom of the transmission case. Nothing good about that! Appears to be leaking from the gasket that joins the 2 halves. Anybody have an issue of this nature? I assume this means transmission removal, right? I haven't done much examining. I was pretty steamed, I didn't want to look. What should be done at the same time if anything?
