Leaking transmission 850 1995

Volvo doesn't use the regular gasket in between the 2 halves of the tranny. They use the "gasket" looked like a glue, pink/red in color. My replacement tranny had the leak too in the "gasket". Dealer first tried to tighten the nut around the leak area. However, that didn't help. So they replaced tranny again.
