Leaking transmission V70-XC70 1998

Just wanted to note that you have a very pretty looking Volvo there! LOVE that color SO much and the front grill/lower fascia. I have a Nautic Blue V70-T5 that is sedate looking but that silver color is wickedly lovely. As for your tranny, all I can say is - UGH. We have 2 Dodge Intrepids [older one is for sale, it's my husband's car]. Both have a well known history of transmission issues, some of them quite serious. We were about to replace the older tranny when I went online to a fantastic Chrysler forum [www.allpar.com] and discovered that a software upgrade and drain/fill would greatly improve life/performance of the tranny. Don't know if that helps you any, but have you considered a rebuilt tranny or a junkyard tranny from a wreck? If the wrecked car has a good transmission and you can get someone to pull it for you, it might save you lots of $$. Or keep putting fluid into it and keep fingers crossed.

Happy New Year too!
