This could be our last Volvo 850

Hi,
Thanks for all replies! To those of you who may have misunderstood my "rant", it`s not that the car has needed repairs but rather when it does we can seem to get them resolved in a competent manner. To Frank who suggested that I request a competent mechanic; not likely since clients are absolutely forbidden to communicate with the techs at the dealership. Clients do not venture past the "yellow line"!!
I do appreciate that any make of car is going to require perhaps costly repairs beyond a certain mileage, the issue here is that the dealer techs seem unable to properly diagnose problems & repair accordingly. And to aggravate the the situation, the service mgr was very aggressive in his comments about my wife`s "high mileage" 850. To be clear, my argument is not about about cost of Volvo repairs but service quality at this dealer.
We definitely intend to voice our dissatisfaction to Volvo Canada & "CC" to the dealer. We plan to buy a new car in the new year & it very well may NOT be a Volvo. It could be "emotionally wrenching" not to drive a Volvo after years of 544`s 122`s, 140`s, 240`s but this could be the end of the road!!!
Happy New Year!
Rich
