FM Radio Cutting Out 850 1996

The FM radio in my '96 850 worked fine when I bought the car a few months ago, but has begun to cut out to static or not play at all. AM, CD, and cassette play fine. I have changed out the FM antenna, but to no avail. What would cause the FM to work intermittently or not at all? Thank you.
