Hello!. Going to buy V70 2000. Does it make sense? Pls, help. V70-XC70

Dmitri--I too have been shopping for months now for a 99-2000 V-70. The advice you've received so far has been excellent. I would only like to add that in my preferences I won't buy an AWD/XC because they are a lot more expensive to maintain and don't quite get the mileage the FWD does. Additinally, I want one with the winter package, i.e. heated seats, headlight wipers, traction control. There are a lot of V-70's out there without the winter package, notably Florida, Texas and California cars, and they are attractively priced. But it does not add to the resale value of the car when the time comes to trade or buy upward. If you haven't already, go to cars.com, hit advanced search, punch in the required data and then hit "all" where it asks for miles from you, and you will pull up that year you're looking for from all over the US, and you can see what's out there. It is truly a buyer's market at the moment. You can find some incredible deals if you look and bargain hard. Dick
