How do you reset the service light on an 850 850 1997

This cable is fine to provide the connectors

but you need some electronics to convert signal levels.

so you could buy it, cut the lead in half and build the electonics such as:

But it hardly seems worth it when you can buy the made up cable for not much more than the parts.
