excessive repairs on my 94 850 What next????????????? 850

I have a '94 850 that had "no issues" for the first 8yrs of it's life. Then we got hit with all the "popular" faults which seemed to be over a span of about a year. PNP switch, Glove box latch, rear engine seal, window switchbox, washer sensor, washer check valve...that's all I can think of now. These are all arguably "non-wear" items and should not have failed. We made the necessary repairs every time using OEM parts. The car is now 10yrs old and we have had no repairs in the last two years other then wearable itmes like brakes, timing belt etc....We survived the "bump" in the road where ALL aging cars require some attention and I expect to get many more years of trouble free driving from the car. After all the expense of repairs, it just makes sense to hang on to our car and continue enjoying it as we do. The car looks great, runs great and many folks are surprised when told it is now 10yrs old. Only time will tell on how long we continue to hang onto the car. If there is a significant component failure like a transmission or engine head/block then of course we would then have to re-consider and likely let go of the car. But until then....
