I suggest that you have a good dealer run the car through their certification check.

My dealer charges 2 hours labor and gives me a 2 page report. Compression check is a third hour - if appropriate, I change the plugs (free labor).

I have used 4 aftermarket insurance policies (by definition, only the manufacturer can offer a true warranty) amd all have paid off. (I'm not sure if this is good or bad!)
