Car won't start--help! 850 1996

I have a 1996 850 turbo volvo wagon. I have replaced the rpm sensor, the cam sensor and the rear seal, the coil and coil wire, the fuel pump sensor located under the fan belt shroud, the fuel pump, the battery, had the starter rebuilt and still an intermittent startinf problem. tonight, 5/31/04 my car just cranks but won't start. I've lost faith in all mechanics because there hasn't been one that seems to know what is wrong with my car. I've been reading the volvo forums and have been replacing things that I've been reading about. The fuel pump was replaced by a mechanic, but again this same problem- Is ther anyone who has a solution to this? I'm getting ready to give up on this car because I can't trust it. PLEASE HELP!!!
