Strange Problem with Brakes 850 1994

I agree - look at the thin metal dust shields. You can jack one side at a time, remove the wheel and put in gear so wheel retates slowly. Check by turning steering wheel side to side, also. If that is causing the noise, pry shield away from rotor.
