recommended octane grade?? 850 1995

Wow, cool data, you know your Swedish engines!

Did those motors have some type of knock sensor though? Without that it seems like the ability to retard spark doesn't mean much unless the computer knows when knock is occuring, unless there was some other type of detection different than the contemporary knock sensor.

Also, so you're saying the 850 engine has this capability? I'm still looking to run regular if at all possible.
