Roof racks V70-XC70 2004

I just purchased a 2004 V70. I'm looking at roof racks and cross bars. The Volvo Euro rails are quite expensive. Has anyone had favorable experience with brands such as Thule or Yakima? If so, I'd be most interested in the brand, model / part number and cost. And, were there any special installation tricks?
Any thoughts are most appreciated.
