I have a suggestion that you might want to consider. Since the 2001 thru 2004 V70s all have the same body, why not try an auto salvage yard and buy a used pair. I'm sure you could find a clean pair of rails that look new. There are numerious salvage yards with websites... try doing a google search.

One place to try is Brims Import Auto Salvage Yard located in Kenton, Ohio. Their phone number is 800-221-3874 and website www.brimsimport.com. If you have trouble let me know, I have a set of rails I would be willing to sell for $100.00. Good Luck
