The best years '97 850 GLT wagon or '98 V70 GLT. (GLT=Great Little Turbo) :)

The '98 is basically the same '97 850 with a new body. They share alot of engine parts and other comp[onents.

'99 and newer came with electronic ignition (no distributor cap, rotor or wires), and electronic throttle system (ETS) with no throttle cable, both of these can give you problems that are expensive to fix.
