Should I buy an 850 t5 wagon

Most of the problem start when the brick is about 8 years old (97).
I have my 96 T5R for a 16 months. When I bought it, the condition was OK, but a lot of the problems mentioned here surface within this year.

Evaporator leak
Air-cond compressor
Brake booster / ABS

Some problems like Evaporator leak and auto box will also happen to Japanese cars but it usually happen later in their life.
