microswitch recall 850 1994

First off- your your transmission is either broke or the linkage is not properly engaging the "Park" gear( broke also).

The emergency brakes are a secondary issue - they should prevent the car from rolling. That said , I have used my emergency brakes maybe one time in 10 years of ownership. Unless you live in a hilly area - the EM brakesare not often needed.

Microswitch does not have anything to do with the first two or your car rolling.
