Cargo Boxes

Hello, I have the Thule cargo box. I use it on my Expedition. I have taken it on trips from here in California to Yellowstone and up to Oregon and down to L.A. No wind noise. Very solid. You don't even know it's up there. Can hold a ton of stuff...I tend to put the light and bulky stuff up there like sleeping bags, tents, chairs, fishing poles, suitcases, etc. Really takes a load off of packing it all into the car. With two adults and 3 kids I have a lot of stuff to haul when we camp. They come in black and white (maybe silver?) and are very durable. Key locked with good lockup in two locations. I got the white one so things won't bake too much in the sun. I will use it on my 2001 V70 T5 soon as I pick up some roof rails....You can do 85 mph no problem with this thing on top....They are pretty strong. All the stuff inside stays dry in the hard rain as it has a pretty good interlocking lip. I am so glad I sprang for the extra money for the Thule hard case as opposed to the fold away ones! The only problem is storage when you are not useing it. I made some mounts out of two by fours on my garage wall and I store it up and away. I am 150 lbs. and average strength and I can lift it and install it all by myself up on my Expedition with no problems. Just remember not to drive into any parking garages when you have it mounted on top if your in a high SUV!
Regards, Chris in CA
