blower motor drawing to much current 850 1994

it may be the blower amplifier. it also suffered when the first blower died. then, the controller in the dash will pay the price. i would check the amperage draw at the blower first. if it's high, replace the amp and blower. if it's ok, replace the amp. cross your fingers on the controller. it may live a long time. i have had to put all 3 parts in cars to clear up all the codes and problems brought on by a dying blower. ever seen a controller smoke? smells bad, too. good luck, chuck.
