Serpentine belt failure

Ok,I found pics of the water pump and see it IS driven by a cog belt,so that's got me a little relieved.But that head is ticking loud.Might be a coincidence that it started doing it around the same time.I don't drive the car,so I didn't notice.

btw car has 105k
