Tick Tick noise 850

If using all of the aforementioned snake oils does not produce the desired effect you may want to consider replacing the seals/gaskets for the oil pick up tube in the oil pan. Pretty common problem with all of the white engines, I have done a number of them. Back in the day when these cars first started doing this the fix was to put Swepco oil treatment in with an oil change and go with Mobil 1 oil. As time went on this fix worked less and less and the problem was actually found to be that the gaskets and seals for the oil pick up were allowing air to be sucked into the oil supply and that is why you have the ticky ticky noises.
