weak points with a 1993 850? 850

my late '94 turbo has been good. Biggest problem was failed thermostat leading to blown head gasket. big $! I'd replace the thermostat at 70K. I do the transmission service every oil change, 3000 mi. No major problems at 120K.
It will be hark to go back to a non-turbo
