I find that to be the equivilent of lying flat out.
Some people are okay with that, too.

Personally, if I know there is something wrong, let's say the car overheats on long drives, I fix it or I tell the buyer.

I sleep very well, knowing I did the right thing, AND the buyer won't come back some night and torch my own car! ;-)
