98 S70 Keyless Remote S70 1998

I had read somewhere that although '99 and above are different (requires dealer intervention), the programing of the '98 keyless remote can be DIY. I'd like to know what to do. I only got one of these when I bought my car used and would like another and plan on bidding on one from eBay today....something about turning the key to the III position and back to I 5 times while holding the remote close to the sensor on the dash...does anyone have specific instructions to get the car to recognize and respond to the new keyless remote. If you could post those instructions, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance.
