Rear hatch seal rusting inside 850 wagon - How to replace? 850 1997

Hi, I may have explained badly or should have posted a pic. It's the rubber seal between lower part of the window and the rest of the rear hatch. This seal has a metal core which is prone to rust, and I have seen this on a number of 850's while looking for a new car. When the metal inside this rubber seal rusts, it will swell and ends up looking quite bad. Has anybody changed this seal?
