Ola,
I too have the same problem on a 2000 V70 and was wondering how to replace the trim piece. Rather than a "seal" I would describe the piece as a trim I thought possibly the glass might need to be removed. I'm surprised there aren't more posts for such a common problem. Your query is the only post I could find on Brickboard. Let us know what you have learned.

I've included a photo in the reference library.
