Sounds like you might have got water in the one of the connectors, and they will dry out. But, now you have the dredded CEL shining on your dash and the computer believing that something is terribly wrong with the engine.
You need to run the engine at some higher rpm's and cook off the excess water. Then you need to get your codes cleared.
