Some of this stuff I'm hearing about the inevitable "temporary" tyranny (Patriot Act for the Internet) will make it impossible for me to run this site.
This post itself would be a problem. Alternative points of view will be crushed. The herd will speak as they are meant to speak.
Oh well. I saw it coming 11 years ago when the banks were bailed out and the media began the dialog about the dumb, reckless American people. Nothing I can do.
I have a bit of guilty pleasure knowing that the Boomer generation gets to see what they've sown before they depart. Note that I'm equally as disappointed with my generation- perhaps more actually. We should have known better. Of course I know most spend a lot of time trying to adjust the furniture on their delusions before they go (fake memories, self-serving remorse).
You wouldn't believe the stories I could tell about these "free love" hippies I called parents and their satanic friends. As I found a home in the middle class, I could see how the self-destruction was so deeply rooted there. They could afford to be smug about it, so it was more of slow burn than it was for working class people.
I hope everyone enjoys the new show that these devils have in store for us. Our second-in-a-row mentally challenged governor just instituted a Stasi-style hotline. Now the crazies, like those that you see on Next Door, will get to play their middle school mean girl, vengeful reject routine with attention from the authorities. It's for our own good.
