A 740 head will work as well. Just be sure to keep the distributor block-off plate from your 240 head. The heads are the same part number (ending in 530)...

30 thou seems an awful lot of warp. While I was selling 405 heads by the dozen to my American neighbors, I refused to sell a head with more than 10 thou warp in it. Beyond that and not only are you resurfacing, you're re-boring the cam bearings to get them straight...
