Sounds like it could be a very bad fuel pump regulator, It's passing gas through the diaghram and right into the Large bellows and it's running into the AMM.
Why would gas in your AMM cause you to replace it, the problem has to be upstream from it.
See if you have gas in that small hose attached to teh front of the Fuel Pump regulator. If yes, Then start by replacing that. It's about $45.
