1979 245DL Canada vs US 200 1979

For whatever reason, your 75 245 was US spec. I had one with the same exact setup. In that year, 49 state cars had no cat, only California ones did. None of them had an O2 sensor---that wasn't until 78.

My 75 did just fine in temps down to about 0 F. (it doesn't get any colder than that where I live)

I have seen (in a junkyard in Maryland, many years ago) at least one Canadian 245 with a B21A single carb motor.
