before you get carried away with the swap-buy a new oil pressure switch-they're cheap. if that's not it, then get a MECHANICAL gauge and test it. if that's low, then pull the oil pan and replace the o-rings on the oil pump pickup tube. pull the pump apart and make sure no gouges exist on the inside. while the pan's off, plastigage the mains and rods bearings, checking the clearance to the crankshaft. the b230's are pretty robust, except for piston slap. i'd be real suprised if the switch or o-rings aren't the whole problem. post the results. good luck, chuck.
