That's not a Vacuum Nipple... 200 1977

Hi Paul,

I had the opposite question when I first started working on my '79. The accumulator must have been replaced, because there was a hose with a screw stuck in it tied to the pump tray. I'm going by memory, but I think I traced it back to the third nipple on the tank sender assembly.

PS, I found some additional stuff in the manual confirming the destination of the accumulator's "fuel leakage hose" (certain models only). Do you have the early '77 fuel pump that hangs from the tank itself, or was it changed out in that recall?

I wound up coming to the conclusion this valve was in backward while trying to learn why the tank built pressure.
