Voltage Regulator Removal - One Last Question 200 1992

OK, one more dumb question. I saw the advice about tipping the regulator to get the brushes in OK and then the regulator flat against the alternator.

As before I can't really see what I'm doing. Should it kind of ease right in, or will I need to apply any pressure when putting the new one in? I realize this is simple, just trying to avoid any bonehead moves while putting the new one in. Thanks again,
