I suppose that means it is a perception the motor is still going at 1900 when the tach is actually telling the truth. I also considered that, and would agree, but chose instead to give Fitz and his experience the benefit of the doubt. Really not sure if I could tell, just by the sound, unless I was listening for that very artifact. Good for the discussion, anyway, when he comes back.
