I had the same problem. Absolutely tried for weeks to find a replacement. S10's-could not find any model that I could adapt.
I finally found a volvo guy that said he does not have a salvage, but has 300 Volvos. Try volvocarl@neo.rr.com
He helped me with a used one-$75. Good luck
