AW70 to M47 swap hit a snag... Try this hydraulic trick... 200

If for some reason you can't "pull" the AT pilot bearing (bushing?), you might get it out with hydraulic pressure.

1) Find or make a rod (wood dowel will work) that is 5" or 6" long and a loose fit inside the pilot whatever.

2) Fill the pilot cavity with grease.

3) Fit the dowel to the greased-filled pilot, wrap a rag around the grease area, and smack the end of the dowel with a BF hammer. Watch out for flying grease and repeat as necessary.

This worked for me years ago on an MG-TC pilot bushing.
