I wholeheartedly agree.

If I am being forced to install a Pertronix, I try to get the customer to carry a points and condenser set along with the tools necessary to change back to points as a back up.

And when the whole distributor is changed like with a 123Ignition installation, the used distributor is also included.

You never know when an EMP will take out the modern electronics. :-)
