Alignment recommendations 700

I'm having some feathering going on with my front tires. Called the dealer and they ask $150 for an alignment. Should I go ahead and let them do the work so I know it's done right? I worry about 2 bit shops not having their machines calibrated correctly or having the experience to align an older Volvo. Is this a valid concern?
