Cable clutch setup. 700 88

Now that I have everything setup the way Volvo meant it to be, I would like to properly adjust my clutch cable.

Is there a stop for the clucth pedal, or does it sit on the tension of the cable?

Should the cable be adjusted so the pedal is in the right position?

Won't the pedal travel upwards with clutch wear?

Should there be a spring holding the clutch fork away from the clutch?

Should the clucth engage when the pedal is at the top of its travel, or down near the floor? My clutch is new.

Any help is hugely appreaciated.
