Just wondering if anyone has had these symptoms and what the cure was. The charge light comes on erraticaly. It's really bright when deccelerating but goes off when accelerating. At night, headlights get really dim when charge light comes on and engine starts missing. No problems at idle. Belt is tight, connections appear good. I suspect the generator but have to go out and lay in the driveway in about 40 degree weather. Don't want to freeze my arse off to find I've replaced the wrong part.
