For a few days, I have been meaning to post about Magnefine filters and their USA distributor www.emerginent.com What an outfit! I called them regarding PS and AT filters for my two Volvos. The guy and the other end of the line nicely asked me for my phone number so Darrell could call me back because he knew most about applications. Sure enough, in less than five minutes Darrell called and spent all the time in the world discussing application of the filters, installation instructions, hardware, etc. He offered to send me hoses, smart fitting hose barb connections, clamps etc. with the four filters I wanted ($20 each, free shipping to Puerto Rico). In a couple of days, I received top quality hoses, fittings and clamps with the four filters. I also received from Darrell email follow up istructions and the offer to help any way I needed. I made a mistake when I ordered 5/16 inch diameter filters for PS. When I called Darrell and told him I made that mistake, he immediately put in the mail two 3/8 filters, even exchange with what I had. As you can imagine, I ran to the post office to mail him back the two 5/16 inch filters I had. Again, I had the filters in a couple of days together with a business card from Darrell and the offer to call if I needed help. You get this kind of service in NYC at the finest jewellers, if you are a good customer! Thank you Darrell.
