I have no idea as to who makes the best setup... but my opinion is that points setup is fine...although admittedly more finicky perhaps.

My advice...go for it if you want. Follow the others' advice as to which to use. But...keep a spare distributor completer with points, condenser, rotor, cap in the trunk in case the electronic setup fails.
