Dexcool problem - You told me so! What now?

I recently serviced the cooling system on my 92 240 with dexcool. After a week of driving I just noticed that the top seal of my water pump is leaking coolant. The pump is a GMB brand and is only 3 years old. I know that coolant wasn't leaking before the change from green to pink. Should I change back and will this stop the leaking seal? I know you told me so! Thanks.
