I've got a 91 240 SW that's been a garage queen for a few years now. It became a queen when a friend giving me a hand working on it installed the battery backwards. So now I've got a load of electrical problems, lots of lights on the dash, etc.. The engine runs fine, no problem there. Any ideas on where to start? I know I've got some blown fuses to replace, anything else I can do?
Also, when backing it out of the garage the brake pedal goes to the floor, a grinding sound coming from the wheels and very little braking takes place. The parking brake does work!
Any help would be very appreciated!
(any good do-it-yourself mechanics in the Southern Maryland area?)
