Wew!!! Trailing Arm Bushing is Done. 200

Now this is one heck of a PITA job. Makes one long for a lift. Basically the whole rear is taken apart. Some of my thoughts below.

1.) Consider getting this job done if your not up for a battle.

2.) Buy the best bushing as one doesn't need to do this job for fun.

3.) If you also need rear shocks this is a good time to change them. Or anything else in the rear.

4.) Don't take out both bushings. Take one out and replace then do the other. This is due to the fact that when both bushings are out rear axle twist all over the place.

5.) Using home made tool don't even consider using 3/8 size bolt. High strength is a must. It takes considerable force to press old one out.

6.) When done crack a Sam Adams and pat yourself on the back.

When done your old brick will thank you. My 1990 240 275K felt nice and tight when done. Did I forget anything.
