volvo roof and safety. I just have to know.

How does the roof on a 240 figure into the overall safety scheme. I saw a civic creamed by a school bus. One bus wheel had mangled the top of the car, both occupants dead. Bus climbed on top of the civic.

would a volvo have done a better job of protecting those people?
