Brake Pipe Replacement Tips? 700 1990

Well, my new SnapOn flare wrenches came today and believe me, they are indeed better than the Sears flare nut wrenches. Fortunately, I had not rounded anything off on the front brake line nuts using the Sears wrenches. That's the good news.

I tried the "first tighten, then loosen" trick on these corroded fittings after having sokaed them in PBlaster for a week. Two loosened right up. Two snapped off, with half the brake pipe fitting remaining inside the hose female side. So it is time for two new brake pipes: one for the right, one for the left.

Any tips on replacing these pipes? I plan to measure the length and then buy the pre-made units at NAPA in the same length. I'll get a bender tool, then plan to spend the evening snaking these through the engine compartment. And I will pray that the opposite fittings (one into the M/C, one into the brake junction block) will come loose with no problems.
